Do you ever just want someone to talk to? Come to the Reading Room at 439 Boston Post Road! Staffed by individuals who’ve been through many personal challenges, from employment difficulties and relationship troubles, to health and physical problems including alcoholism and all kinds of ailments, we are here to help, to lend a listening ear, and to assure you of your indispensable place in the beautiful universe we call home. We’re open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and on Wednesday from 7:00 – 7:30 and at 8:30 (before and after our weekly testimony meeting). We can also accommodate special hours for visitors who may be unable to come in during our regular hours — please call 781-891-5887 if this would be of help to you. You’re complete happiness, freedom, and peace are just waiting for you to claim them!
This Sunday’s sermon, “Spirit,” is based on the verse from the book of Pslams: “thou art my God: thy spirit is good.” The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and everyone is welcome. The sermon can be purchased or read and studied at the Reading Room beforehand.
Sunday school for all children up to the age of 20 is held at the same time as church. Children join the congregation for the first hymn and then divide up into their classes. Infants and toddlers, pre-schoolers, grade school, middle school, high school and college students are all welcome. No previous religious education is required as teaching and discussions in the small classes are responsive to the needs of each child at whatever stage of their experience, enabling them to discover their individual worth and unique place that can help prepare them to meet all kinds of challenges later in life. If you know a child who would be helped by a Sunday school experience and would like more information about our programs, please call the Church at 781-891-5887. Leave a voice mail if need be, and we will get back to you!
The regular Wednesday evening testimony meeting will be held in the Reading Room this coming week, on the street level of our buildings, at the regular time (7:30 p.m.) Everyone is welcome!
